What the app is

Log Cam: RAW 4K Video Camera is an iPhone app that records log video. It records to its own in-app gallery. From there you can export to an external SSD or a hard drive connected to the phone, or into the Files app. The features pages describe it in more detail. Features may be added, changed, or removed as the app develops.

Apple distributes the app through the App Store. So your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s standard licensed application end user license agreement (Apple EULA).

Your footage is yours

Everything you record stays yours. It is stored on your device, and we never receive it. This page claims no rights over it. In return you are responsible for what you record. It must be lawful for you to record it where you are. You must also have whatever permission the people or places in it require.

It is your job to move your footage off the phone

The app gives you an export path. You choose whether to use it. An export is the only thing that puts a copy of your footage somewhere the app is not. If you remove the app, you remove what is inside it. No copy exists on our side to restore, because we never had one.

Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose, on a drive or wherever suits you. No app is a substitute for a backup, and this one is no exception.

Price and purchases

The app is free to download. Some features need a paid upgrade, and the app gives you a trial period before you decide. The App Store sells the upgrade. Apple handles the payment, the billing, and any refund, under its own policies and not ours. These terms do not state a price, because the App Store listing is where a price is current and a copy of it here would go out of date without anyone noticing.

This website sells nothing and takes no payment. If you want a refund, ask Apple. We cannot issue one, because we never receive your payment.

Acceptable use

Do not reverse engineer, redistribute, or resell the app, and do not use it to break the law. Do not use this website in a way that interferes with it or with anyone else who reads it.

What is not promised

The app and this website are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Nothing here promises that the app will be free of faults, available without interruption, or fit for a particular job you have in mind. A fault while you record can cost you a shot that you cannot repeat. With an important shot, use the same care you use with any other camera. Examine it, and move a copy off the device.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, Mehmet Ali Kısacık is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app or this website, including lost footage or lost work. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing in them removes consumer rights you have where you live.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, and disputes are subject to the courts of Istanbul, Turkey, unless the consumer protection rules of your country of residence give you the right to bring the matter somewhere else.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top of the page changes with it. If you continue to use the app or the site after a change, the updated terms apply.
